PRESS RELEASE - ALQAMI APPOINTS ELIZABETH PRITCHARD AS NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

NEW YORK and LONDON, June 14th, 2022 - Alqami, the Fintech start-up solving the alternative data set evaluation challenge, today announced the appointment of Elizabeth Pritchard as Non-Executive Director to its Board of Directors. Her appointment brings additional alternative data expertise and leadership support as Alqami builds out their AI-powered data set evaluation software platform.

Samantha Campbell, CEO of Alqami, said “It is with great pleasure that we announce the appointment of Elizabeth Pritchard to Alqami’s Board of Directors. Elizabeth is renowned in the data, technology, and financial industries as she has made an enduring impact through her leadership roles. With her 25 years’ experience in successfully scaling data products and businesses, Elizabeth’s guidance will play an integral part of Alqami’s product strategy and technology platform launch. Her understanding of the data challenges companies face and how they adopt new technologies to remove friction from the data value chain will be very useful to us as we bring our new AI solutions to market.”

Ms. Pritchard commented “while much progress has been made setting up data tech stacks, there remains work to be done to evaluate the additive value of external data content. Getting to know whether a particular data set can answer the questions research analysts are asking still takes far too long. It can take weeks and months. Alqami is focused on removing this pain point so that a data set can be evaluated automatically, and its value can be determined in a click.”

The Board
Ms. Pritchard joins Non-Executive Directors, Michael Recce, CEO of AlphaROC (an AI and data science consultancy) and former Chief Data Scientist at Neuberger Berman, Government Investment Corporation of Singapore and Point72 Asset Management; and Patrick Porritt, Chief Business Officer of BIOS and Chairman of Alchera, and former Managing Director at Credit Suisse, BoA Merrill Lynch, and UBS.
